Fascism alive and growing

 



  • Absolute Power of the State: Fascist regimes have a strong centralised state, or national government. The fascist state seeks total control over all major parts of society. Individuals must give up their private needs and rights to serve the needs of the whole society as represented by the state.       Who can see a parallel to the way State Premiers have been operating over this so called pandemic?  Comrade Dan has been a standout in this regard with his attempts to legislate new powers of arrest in particular.
  • Rule by a Dictator: A single dictator runs the fascist state and makes all the important decisions. This leader often uses charisma, a magnetic personality, to gain the support of the people.   Well our Premiers are showing this in the way they have handled this pandemic they are making all the decisions and using Health bureaucrats to supply statistics to justify their claims.   
  • Corporatism: Fascists believe in taming capitalism by controlling labor and factory owners. Unions, strikes, and other labor actions are illegal. Although private property remains, the state controls the economy.
  • Extreme Nationalism: The fascist state uses national glory and the fear of outside threats to build a new society based on the “common will” of the people. Fascists believe in action and looking at national myths for guidance rather than relying on the “barren intellectualism” of science and reason.   Premiers are using border closures in this regard and holding people in lockdown unless you are at least double dosed.  But even then we are finding the lack of immunity means they can extend their powers even further.
  • Superiority of the Nation’s People: Fascists hold up the nation’s people as superior to other nationalities. They typically strengthen and unify the dominant group in a nation while stifling dissent and persecuting minority groups.       This is being presented by different rules for vaccinated and unvaccinated people.
  • Militarism and Imperialism: Fascists believe that great nations show their greatness by conquering and ruling weak nations. Fascists believe the state can survive only if it successfully proves its military superiority in war.      Although Australia is far from superior in this regard the indiscriminate use of the Military in controlling people and stopping protests has been very well documented By the people who were targeted.
So are we living in a Democratic Society or has Fascism started to control our lives in Australia?  You decide?

The Significance of Choice

 I spent many years in the RAAF and discipline was a part of life.  We only had limited freedom on base and appreciated our freedoms and the choices we had off base.  Even when I was an Investigator with Immigration we dealt with a unsavoury element of human traffickers and crawled in tight spacer both on boats and on land.  Due to this we had a need for Hep injections, but this a individuals choice even though work paid for them.  The same went with Influenza and pneumococcal injections. I personally chose to get these injections, but this is my point, “ I CHOSE’.  No-one should ever lose that fundamental right, because people will choose what works for them and what makes them feel safe.   I believe because the Big Brother style government in Australia is forcing these vaccinations on the population, they are getting resistance from many who would get vaccinated otherwise.  I know I have had a choice of which vaccination I could  have due t...

Vaccine Mandates: an unjustified assault on our human rights and freedoms

  A growing number of Australians are becoming acutely aware that vaccination policy will eventually intrude into every aspect of their personal, family, social and economic lives, unless the sweeping powers available to the parliament under the Australian Constitution are duly limited. It is not a case of if, but when vaccination policy will touch an individual, family or occupational class. It would seem that no citizen will be immune from the authoritarian creep towards coe rcive, cradle- to-grave, or more correctly, womb-to-tomb vaccination laws, as vaccine promoters find more and more indications for vaccination. The old, the young, the yet-to-be-born; no citizen will be able to escape multiple rounds of vaccination and boosters.
